BrainPop
This award-winning online educational resource for K-12 allows users to create animated, curricular content to engage students, support educators, and bolster achievement, and also includes GameUp, a free educational games portal for the classroom. In traditional, blended, and "flipped" learning settings, BrainPOP supports individual, team, and whole-class learning. At school and in informal learning environments, characters help introduce new topics and illustrate complex concepts. The Mixer tool lets users tailor their assessments to meet all students' needs. Columbia Granger's World of Poetry
This database, produced by Columbia University Press, contains citations and full-text for works of poetry found in anthologies, and volumes of collected works and selected works for individual poets, making it an invaluable tool for the study of poetry. It also includes bibliographic information for anthologies, commentaries and biographies. Hyperlinking exists throughout the commentaries, biographies, and poem full text. Users can easily jump from poems to relevant commentary or author biographies when appropriate. A glossary is also provided, giving users detailed definitions for over 300 poetry specific terms.
